Parliament Of Ukraine Appointed Yulia Sviridenko As Prime Minister

Verkhovna Rada Ukraine voted for the appointment of Yulia Sviridenko as prime minister.

According to MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak in Telegram, the appointment of Sviridenko for the position was supported by 262 people’s deputy.

Yulia Sviridenko became the 19th Prime Minister of Ukraine and the second woman who holds the appropriate position.

In 2019-2020, Yulia Sviridenko was deputy and first deputy minister of development, trade and agriculture.

Decree of the President of Ukraine on December 22, 2020 was appointed deputy head of the presidential office.

On November 4, 2021, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Yulia Sviridenko the first Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Economics.
