The parliamentary delegation of Uzbekistan will make a visit to Belarus on September 4-7, the press service of the upper house of the Parliament of Belarus said.
The visit of the delegation headed by the speaker of the Uzbekistan parliament Tanzila Narbaeva is organized at the invitation of the Belarusian side.
Along with the discussion of the inter-parliamentary agenda issues, the first Belarusian-Uzbek female business forum will be organized as part of the visit.
The forum on September 5 will take place six sectional meetings: “Expanding cooperation of Belarus and Uzbekistan in the field of industry”, “Promising directions of cooperation in the field of light industry”, “Strengthening the partnership of agro -industrial complexes of Belarus and Uzbekistan”, “Medicine and pharmaceuticals are promising – promising – promising directions of development of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan, “implementation of partnership in the field of science and education”, “culture and tourism – the potential of mutual contacts”.
On September 6, the key event of the first Belarusian -Uzbek women’s business forum will be held – a plenary meeting on the topic “Women in business – the potential for the development of business cooperation of Belarus and Uzbekistan.”
