A regular meeting of the Working Group on Economic Issues of the Interdepartmental Center, functioning under the Coordination Headquarters, created for the centralized solution of issues in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, was held, haqqin.az reports.
The meeting discussed the participation of foreign companies in the restoration and reconstruction of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
It was noted that the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Business under the Ministry of Economy receives and analyzes applications related to the implementation of entrepreneurial activities in these territories, informs entrepreneurs, gives appropriate recommendations and sends applications to their intended purpose.
The priority of investment projects submitted to the Agency is analyzed, potential projects are identified, which are included in the information base.
The Agency has received 409 applications from individuals and legal entities to carry out entrepreneurial activities in the liberated territories.
Of these requests, 104 (25%) relate to trade and services, 93 (23%) – industry, 69 (17%) – agriculture, 70 (17%) – construction, 34 (8%) – tourism, 5 (1.2%) – education, 1 (0.2%) – transport and logistics, 33 (8.5%) – other spheres.
