Prime Minister Algeria Aimen Benaberrahman accepted the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shakhbazov.
Prime Minister appreciated the participation of the President of Azerbaijan in the 31st summit of the League of Arab states as an indicator of high relations between the two countries and asked to convey to the head of state the greeting of President Algeria Abdelmaje Tebbun.
The Minister of Energy of the Parviz Shakhbazov noted that the development of comprehensive, including energy cooperation with Algeria, is paid to special attention from the President of Azerbaijan: “The bilateral negotiations and the signed document on cooperation in the oil and gas sector are implemented by this particular policy” .
At the meeting, the importance of developing the economic ties of Azerbaijan and Algeria was emphasized. An exchange of views on the prospects of cooperation in the energy sector was conducted, and it was noted that the Algerian government would provide the necessary support to achieve progress in this area.
