Parviz Shakhbazov promised more gas for Bulgaria

In the Greek region of Komotini, the opening ceremony of the Greece-Bolgaria (IGB) interconnector was held for the transportation of Azerbaijani natural gas to Bulgaria. Greece at the event was represented by Prime Minister Kiriakotikitis, Bulgaria – Prime Minister Kirill Petkov, Azerbaijan – Minister of Energy of Parviz Shakhbazov.

The opening of the Greece-Bolgaria interconnector is a strategically important event in the diversified energy supply of Bulgaria and Southeast Europe as a whole, the access of consumers to profitable and pure energy, said the Minister of Energy of the Parviz Shakhbazov, speaking at the ceremony.
