Pashinyan about peace treaty with Azerbaijan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that a response from Azerbaijan has not yet been received about proposals regarding a peace agreement.

He said about this on Tuesday during a press conference.

“The process is as follows. We sent our proposals to Azerbaijan about a peace treaty, but have not yet received an answer. We are ready to sign a peace treaty and do everything in our power,” said the prime minister.

Pashinyan assured that he would definitely report the readiness of the document.

At the same time, he noted that in Yerevan they will refuse the document, “if he does not correspond to the state interests of Armenia.”

The prime minister emphasized that Armenia is ready to conclude a contract and will do everything in its power.

“The signing of the document will become good news, because it will mean that the parties could balance their interests,” he said.
