Pashinyan Announced Interest Of Yerevan In Opening Of Communications Of South Caucasus

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that Yerevan is interested in unlocking the transport routes and communications of the South Caucasus, Armenian media reports.

“In general, our position is that Armenia is interested and wishes to open transport communications in the region, including from Armenia through the territory of Azerbaijan, from Azerbaijan through the territory of Armenia, bilateral trade, international message from Armenia to the third countries through the territory of Azerbaijan, from Azerbaijan to Third Countries Through the territory of Armenia, as well as transit exchange.

According to him, in all discussions, “Yerevan will consider all these processes within the framework of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Armenia.”

“This is very important to fix it, because any discussions took place and will be held in this context in the future. We have never had discussions that would be divorced from the agenda of the mentioned principles or contradict this agenda,” Pashinyan emphasized.
