Pashinyan called Erdogan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to the press service of the Armenian government, Pashinyan expressed condolences and words of support to the President and the people of Turkey in connection with numerous sacrifices due to a strong earthquake in the southeast of the country.

“Pashinyan wished for a speedy recovery to all the victims and added that from the Yerevan airport” Zvartnot “is being prepared for departure to the distress zone, on board of which there are rescue forces,” the message was noted.

Erdogan thanked Prime Minister Pashinyan for his help and noted that the Turkish government highly appreciates the support of Armenia. He emphasized the importance of this step in the context of further deepening the dialogue between the two countries.
