Pashinyan called Putin because of Karabakh

At the initiative of the Armenian side, a telephone conversation of the Russian President Vladimir Putin was held with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, they discussed the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh, the Kremlin press service reports.

“The discussion of the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh continued. Satisfaction is stated that, thanks to the efforts of Russian peacekeepers, the situation in the region remains stable and calm. An exchange of views conducted on topical topics of bilateral cooperation, including in the energy sector,” the report says.

In addition, Pashinyan informed about the development of the domestic political situation in Armenia in connection with the extraordinary parliamentary elections appointed for June.
