Pashinyan did not appeal to Lukashenko’s statement

The statements of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko are “unacceptable” and do not comply with the charter of the collective security agreement, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview with the Armenian media, commenting on the speech of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the latest CSTO summit.

Lukashenko at the summit called on Pashinyan to sit at the negotiating table with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev through the mediation of Russia.

“I consider such statements unacceptable for the simple reason that they do not proceed from the Treaty on Collective Security, the Charter of the CSTO and other documents of the organization,” Pashinyan said.
