Pashinyan: military presence of Russia threatens Armenia

Russia’s military presence in Armenia is formed by Yerevan’s security threats, said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a press conference.

“Recently, Azerbaijan has justessed its” aggressive actions “(our quotes) with fears that Armenia and Russia are preparing joint aggressive actions against Azerbaijan, and they (Azerbaijanis) take preventive actions. The attention of our Russian colleagues to this fact: I state that in the conditions of their silence it turns out that the military presence of Russia in Armenia not only does not guarantee the security of the republic, but vice versa – creates threats to Armenia’s security, ”he said.
