Pashinyan says ready to negotiate with President of Azerbaijan

Ankara (AA) – Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan is ready to conduct emergency discussions with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

According to the press service of the Armenian government, Pashinyan said this during a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

Armenia Prime Minister confirmed the commitment to agreements of October 6, 2022 in Prague and May 14, 2023 in Brussels, as well as the willingness to resolve all issues exclusively by diplomatic means.

In turn, Blinken emphasized the importance of solving all issues through dialogue, peacefully and noted that the United States will continue active efforts in this direction.

Pashinyan also told Blinken that for this purpose was ready to conduct emergency discussions with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Earlier on Saturday, a telephone conversation of the Prime Minister of Armenia and French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Sholtsa was reported.
