Pashinyan Thanked Macron For “Efforts To Establish Peace” In South Caucasus

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan thanked France President Emmanuel Macron for “efforts aimed at establishing a fair and durable world” in the South Caucasus.

This is stated in the congratulatory message of Pashinyan to the French leader on the occasion of the national holiday of the French Republic, the Armenian media reports.

In his message, the head of the Armenian government noted that Armenia and France are “united by centuries -old friendship,” and their historical ties “have key importance” for the development of interstate relations.

The Prime Minister expressed appreciation for a high level of political dialogue between the two countries and effective cooperation in all directions, emphasizing that thanks to the commitment of President Macron, these relations have grown into strategic partnership.

He also noted that the interaction between Armenia and France covers such important areas as the fight against climate change, the protection of biodiversity and the development of artificial intelligence, and confirmed the readiness of Armenia to contribute to overcoming global challenges.
