Patriot began to guard sky over Warsaw

Patriot anti -aircraft missile systems, which Poland purchased from the United States last year, were deployed in Warsaw under military exercises, the Associated Press said, citing a statement by the Poland Ministry of Defense.

At least three launchers were noticed at the Warsaw airport Bemovo.

It is noted that Poland takes additional measures to strengthen its defense potential against the background of the approach of the first anniversary of the Russian war in Ukraine.

Patriot air defense systems are part of the multi -billion dollar purchases by Poland of weapons from the United States, South Korea and other countries. Poland also received Patriot complexes from Germany to strengthen its air defense in the east of the country.
