The peoples of Ukraine and Russia are not interested in the conflict, but the United States and Great Britain are interested in it. This idea was expressed by the Secretary of the Security Council (SB) of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev during a press approach following a meeting with the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Russian media reports.
“The people of Ukraine are not interested, the people of Russia are also not interested, the peoples who live on the territory of the CSTO are also not interested, but for some reason the conflict unfolds, for some reason it began. I call you a country that is primarily interested in: This is the United States, and also England, ”he said.
Patrushev emphasized that Washington and London are not sorry for those people who die in conflict, because these are not their people. “And because military operations are not on their territory,” said Sat secretary
He noted that the leadership of Ukraine was ready to resolve the conflict with Russia, but refused due to US pressure. “If it were not for the US pressure on those whom they at the head of Ukraine would not have been this situation. Even the leaders of Ukraine themselves were ready to conclude a peace treaty, and gave Russia in writing, which in principle we approved” – said the Secretary of the Council of People’s Commissars of the Russian Federation, referring, obviously, negotiations between Russian and Ukrainian delegations in Turkey in March last year.

According to him, the United States against the multipolar world, but they will not be able to dominate all countries. “Washington wants to weaken Russia, but its ultimate goal is China. They want to destroy or weaken Russia, but their final goal is generally – this is China,” Patrushev believes.

Patrushev also believes that the West is trying to force some countries not to go to the Russia -Africa summit, which will be held in the summer in St. Petersburg.
He recalled that recently in the Moscow Region, the XI international meeting of high security representatives was held in the suburbs. During it, representatives of the Council of People’s Commissars of the Russian Federation, including met colleagues from Africa. “There were 44 countries of Africa. We are with all – either I, or the deputies – held meetings. Each representative of the African side said that the ambassadors came to them either to the USA, or England, or France, but they demanded that they not We went to this international meeting, and demanded that Russia -Africa do not go to the Summit, ”said the Secretary of the Sat of the Russian Federation.
Many African countries after that said that the West still treats them as a colonies, Patrushev added.
