The son of the Iranian Shah, the Crown Prince Shahzadea Reza Pahlavi, in an interview with television journalists, called on representatives of Iranian law enforcement agencies against the backdrop of tough suppression of protests “to make their choice, since tomorrow they will be responsible for their actions.”

“People (Protesters) say that we are not going to take revenge and accept you (security forces), but join us and do not protect the system. You must make your choice today because tomorrow you will be responsible for your actions.”

Pekhlevi also stated that the protesters “must present the unified person of the opposition for the international dialogue.”

He also emphasized the need for solidarity between political groups: “Tomorrow we may have different political preferences in Iran, but at this stage we have a common goal – to save the country.”
