Pentagon will ask for compensation for weapons given to Ukraine

The Pentagon is a list of weapons and equipment, which was sent to Ukraine in order to contact the US Congress for compensation later. This was stated by the chief of staff of the US Army, General James McConsville. The message is published on the website of the Ministry of Defense.

“We are returning to Congress through the Ministry of Defense and ask to provide resources to replenish these ammunition and these weapons,” the general said during his performance at the summit and exhibition of US Army fighters. He later added that he would ask Congress to replace “every shell that we send, every weapon system.”

Commenting on what replacement the US Congress should provide, James McConsville said: “We do not want to buy” new “old things.” The command plans to get the latest weapons and military equipment

All M113 armored personnel carriers sent to Ukraine can be replaced by newer Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicles, or AMPV of the latest model. The donated howitzers M777 should be replaced by self -propelled M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System or Himars.
