In winter, Ukraine will preserve the initiative on the battlefield, because the Armed Forces of Ukraine received all the necessary equipment for fighting in cold weather. This was stated by US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, the Pentagon press service said.
According to him, Kyiv understands that the operational pause at the front is extremely beneficial for the Russians, so the Armed Forces intend not to make mistakes and not stop the offensive.
Russia, on the other hand, will encounter logistics problems and difficulties in ensuring the equipment of its troops in Ukraine to conduct effective battles in winter conditions.
“The Russian army is fighting in another country. The Ukrainians made their supply routes problematic. It will be difficult for them to deliver the equipment necessary for the effective conduct of hostilities,” said Lloyd Austin.
Pentagon’s chief is sure that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not give the troops of Russia a respite that Moscow is counting on. “Ukrainians know that to give them the opportunity to relax, re -equipped and re -refracting is a mistake. This is an operating error. I do not believe that they will make such a mistake,” the American minister emphasized.
