US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said that NATO would not refuse the open door policy, and did not rule out that Ukraine in the future could try to join the alliance again.
“I think that NATO will always adhere to the principles of” open door “… I really think that in the future, if there is such an opportunity, Ukraine will try to apply for membership in NATO again,” Austin said to the press -For conferences in Germany, reports RIA Novosti.
