The employees of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office of Manhattan held a search in the apartment owned by the personal lawyer of the former US President Donald Trump and the ex-mayor of New York Rudolph Juliani. It is reported by the Russian BBC service.
According to New York Times, the first reporting on the search, computers and telephone were seized. Later, the publication information was confirmed by the CBS and CNN TV channels, as well as the Associated Press Agency
Officially, the American authorities do not comment on what happened. In the Federal Prosecutor’s Office, Manhattan and the US Department of Justice did not respond to the request of the Russian service BBC.
According to New York Times, a search is associated with the investigation of Juliani’s activities in Ukraine and attempts by personal lawyer Trump lobbying the interests of several Ukrainian businessmen in the USA.
