Peskov told legal awards to participants of rallies legal

The practice of presenting the summons for detainees at anti-war rallies does not contradict the law, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

He also called the “highly exaggerated” information about the excitement in Russian airports against the backdrop of mobilization announcements.

“Information about a certain excitement at the airports and so on is very exaggerated. A lot of fake information appears on this score,” he warned.

Peskov also refused to comment on the details of the exchange of prisoners with Ukraine, including whether one of them was one of the leaders of the Opposition Platform – for life Viktor Medvedchuk.

The press secretary of the Russian president also said that he knew about the conversation of his son Nicholas with the associate of convicted Alexei Navalny Dmitry Nizovtsev, who submitted an employee of the military administration. At the same time, the Kremlin representative noted that the full text of the conversation was not published, and did not comment on the content of this conversation, emphasizing that it was a member of his family.

“I know about this,” Peskov said, answering on Thursday to the question of journalists if he was aware of this conversation. The Kremlin spokesman noted that he did not watch a video during which his son Nikolai refused to appear at the military registration and enlistment office and promised to “solve the issue at a different level.”
