Pilots in Turkey are trained on air traffic controllers for KAAN

In Turkey, they are actively preparing for flights on the fifth military aircraft developed by the domestic military aircraft, called Kaan.

Turkish pilots are actively training on air development aircraft.

Data on the design of the aircraft and the corresponding changes are reflected in the simulator system and are checked during the flight.

One of the pilots testing Kaan, Gekkhan Bayramoglu, told Anadol that work on the aircraft engine began in May, after the president announced the name of the aircraft.

Bayramoglu recalled that before the first flight it was not long left, but for now, engineers check and finish the flight control systems, chassis, boarding mechanisms to avoid problems during the first flight.

According to him, at this stage, work on an aircraft carrier is very important, which allows pilots to check the data introduced by engineers.

Also, engineers with the help of a simulator try to identify how to reduce the working load on the pilot in flight, and work out emergency situations in which they should perform certain procedures, he noted.

Bayramoglu said that the main thing in this case is the maximum realism and proximity of data during flight on aircraft and directly on the plane itself. “In modern systems, all engineering and aerobatic capabilities are supported by a simulator. We actually want to see how much this information is deviated from the specified parameters in the air, and how accurately the work done on the computer,” he said.

“Therefore, the simulator is vital for us. We have already completed more than 40 flights. It is about 120-130 hours of raid,” said Bayramoglu.

The representative of Tusaş Gekhan Shimshki noted that he has been involved in the implementation of the project of the first combat aircraft of Turkey since 2014.
