Plane flew to Baku returned to Samara

The aircraft of the UTAIR airline, which flew out of Samara to Baku, returned to the departure airport due to the problem of the generator of one of the engines.

This was reported in the press service of the Volga Transport Prosecutor’s Office.

“Kuibyshevsky transport prosecutor’s office checks the safety of flights and compliance with passengers in connection with the return of departure to the airport on the technical reason that took place on February 2, 2023, which performed flight No. 773 on the Samara -Baku route,” the supervisory authority said.

According to preliminary data, at 12:40 the commander of the Boeing-735 aircraft, the UTAIR airline, after departure from the airport, Kurumoch decided to return due to the problem of the generator of one of the engines. The plane landed, the malfunction is eliminated.

At the time of waiting for departure, passengers will be provided by services provided for by federal aviation rules.

67 passengers were registered on the flight, including one minor, noted in the Volga transport prosecutor’s office.

The supervisory authority will check the circumstances of the incident and take measures of prosecutorial response if there are grounds.
