Planes of Ministry of Defense of Turkey will fly to Sudan to evacuate citizens

The Ministry of National Defense of Turkey allocated 5 military transport aircraft to evacuate Turkish citizens from Sudan. This was announced by the head of the department of Hulushi Akar.

According to him, the process of exporting Turkish citizens from the African country is planned to be completed by Friday evening.

According to him, 210 Turkish citizens will be evacuated from the Vadi-Sidna area north of Hartum on three aircraft of the S-130.

“two more of our A400M aircraft landed in Port Sudan. According to the data we have, there are 250 Turkey citizens there. One of these aircraft will soon fly out of Port Sudan to deliver our citizens to their homeland,” Akar said .

The head of the department added that the evacuation process is coordinated with the Foreign Ministry of Turkey.
