Poland announced grain prohibition for Ukraine despite compromise found by EC

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Moravetsky said that the European Commission’s decision on the abolition of restrictions on the import of Ukrainian agricultural products after September 15 will not affect Poland’s decision to introduce their own, unilateral ban.

According to the RAR agency, Moravecki said the time of meeting with voters in the city of Elk.

“The ban on imports was lifted. We will continue the ban on imports,” Moravesky said.

“We will continue the ban on the import of Ukrainian grain, despite the lack of approval of the EU,” Poland Prime Minister emphasized.
