Poland conducted “secret operation” in Ukraine

The mission of almost a hundred Polish police sappers secretly worked in Ukraine.

This was reported by the portal Wirtualna Polska.

According to his information, the sappers at the request of the Ukrainian side were engaged in the clearance of territories. At the moment, all Polish police officers have returned to Poland.

As the portal notes, Ukraine asked for help within the framework of the Atlas group operating in the European Union, which combines the counter -terrorism formations of the EU countries. Only Poland gave a positive answer. The rest of the countries considered the sending of their police to the conflict region too dangerous.

According to Wirtualna Polska, by decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic, a group for sending to Ukraine was formed in the summer. Only volunteers were sent. In early October, 98 people with two trained dogs left the country.
