Poland creates new tank division

Poland’s authorities approved the concept of creating a new military formation in the East of the country – the first division of the Legion infantry, the Deputy Prime Minister of Poland, Minister of National Defense Marius Blashchak said at a briefing.

“We are trying to fill the eastern part of our country with the Polish army. Therefore, we create new military units.

According to Blashcac, “the division will be equipped with modern weapons.” In particular, it is planned to arm it with American ABRAMS tanks and South Korean K-2 tanks. It will be part of the artillery brigade with self-propelled howitzers of Polish production Krab, South Korean K-9 and unmanned intelligence systems.
