Poland led troops to highest readiness

Polish army, border guard, the police and other power structures on the border with Belarus are in the state of the highest readiness, said the President of Poland Angey Duda.

“Our border guard, Polish army, police and other services are in a state of highest readiness,” leads the words of Polish President TASS.

Duda assured that Poland can cope with the crisis on the border with Belarus. “I am in constant contact with the leaders of the countries of our region and partners in the EU and NATO. The Poland’s position is related to understanding and support,” the politician pointed out.

On Thursday, the number of migrants on the border of Poland and Belarus increased to 5 thousand people, some of them needed medical care, four were hospitalized.
