Police officers detained persons who were engaged in illegal sale of tickets for matches of the UEFA Champions League playoffs. This was reported on Wednesday in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.
According to information, seven people were detained who tried in various ways to sell tickets at an inflated price. They found and seized tickets registered for names more than 300 persons.
In accordance with Article 443 of the Code of Administrative Assembly, protocols were drawn up and administrative penalties in the amount of 700 manat for falsification or sale of tickets for mass sports measures and prices for prices exceeding the established tariffs are drawn up.
Police measures to suppress such cases continue, the press service noted.
