Polish company purchased gas in United States for Ukraine

Polish oil and gas company PGNIG purchased a tanker with liquefied gas for Ukraine in the USA, the Polish concern reports.

PGNIG purchased American LNG for delivery to the border of Ukraine for EU EUROPE, RIA Novosti reports.

“The ship with American LNG will arrive at the LNG terminal named after Lech Kaczynski in Swinoujscie at the end of February of this year,” the report says.

According to the report, after regasification, the fuel will be supplied to the Polish gas transmission system. Eru Europe will receive purchased fuel on the interconnect between Poland and Ukraine until the end of March 2022, clarified in the company.
