In conditions of a full -scale invasion of Russia to the territory of independent Ukraine, the main task of the Armed Forces of Ukraine today is to destroy the Russian troops before the enemy transfer its reserves to Ukraine. This was stated by the former commander of the ground forces of the Armed Forces of Poland, General Valdemar Skshipchak, reports Ukrinform.
“Ukraine should cope with the Russian army before the new mobilized forces get to the front. There are four to five weeks for this, I think, until the end of June,” Skshipchak said.
He also noted that the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky will have a decisive influence on the outcome of this war.
“Now Putin should decide the fate of the war, but the President of Zelensky. The President of Ukraine is now winning, so he must determine when it will be completed. I mean that Ukraine has a chance to free all the occupied territories of Donbass, and the question Crimea should be decided in the international arena later – perhaps already with another president of Russia, ”the general said.
