Polish Prime Minister and President of Latvia arrived in Kyiv

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Moravetsky and President of Latvia Egils Levits arrived on a visit to Kyiv, reports RBC-Ukraine.

During their visit, the Polish Prime Minister and leader of Latvia met with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.

“Today I am in Kyiv to assure Vladimir Zelensky that Latvia will continue to provide strong support to Ukraine before the victory in this war. Latvia is your defender. Latvia will help in restoration work. Glory to Ukraine!”, The president wrote Latvia on Twitter.

Moravetsky, for his part, congratulated the Ukrainian military on a successful offensive and wished that this was a signal for the final victory. According to the prime minister, the victory of Russia would mean defeat not only for Ukraine, but also for Europe, as well as its values.

“Sanctions against Russia are becoming more painful than their economy. Russia uses economic instruments as a pistol that is assigned to the head of many EU countries, and in Ukraine it is a rifle assigned to the body,” Poland Prime Minister said.
