The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Ambassador Ayşe Berris Ekinci, within the framework of political consultations between Turkey and Azerbaijan, held a number of meetings in Azerbaijan.
According to the ministry’s messages published on the ministry’s social networks, Ekinci held a number of meetings.
Ekinci met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Araz Azimov. The parties discussed relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan, multilateral cooperation, as well as military and security issues.
During the meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Yalcin Refiyev and Ekinldi, relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan, opportunities for international cooperation and environmental issues were discussed.
Ayşe Berris Ekinci also visited the office of the Turkish Oil Company in Baku (TPAO).
The Deputy Minister also held meetings with representatives of the Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR), British Petroleum (BP) and Total Energies. During these meetings, an exchange of views took place on issues of bilateral cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of energy, regional energy and transport infrastructure.
