In the appeal, political parties congratulated the citizens of Azerbaijan and compatriots abroad on the anniversary of the historical victory, calling for further strengthening of national unity in the name of a strong and prosperous state. “Azerbaijanis around the world are deeply aware that as a result of the 44-day Patriotic War, not only our territorial integrity was restored, but also the pride of the Azerbaijani people returned. The parties indicated that the high international authority of Azerbaijan is today recognized throughout the world. In addition, it is noted that historical monuments destroyed during the years of occupation are being restored, cities are being revived, and life is returning to all regions of Karabakh. International meetings and events are being held in Shusha, Khankendi, Lachin and other cities.
