Pope Francis turned to the participants of the VIII Global Baku Forum “Peace after COVID-19”.
In his appeal, the head of the Catholic Church noted that the Forum coincided with the 880th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjevi.
2021 announced in Azerbaijan the year by Nizami as a sign of respect for the work of the poet. The literary heritage of Nizami is an element of regional unity. I believe that a specific and effective proposals will be presented on the forum that are so important for the international community.
