Since the beginning of the year, the population of Azerbaijan has increased by 29,418 people, or 0.3% and by July 1, 2022 reached 10,185,784 people, the State Statistics Committee said.
It is noted that 52.9% falls on the share of urban, 47.1% – the rural population, while the ratio of the number of men and women has not changed.
