Counted according to the results of the 2019 census, the population of Azerbaijan as of January 1, 2023 is 10 million 127 thousand 145 people, the State Committee for Statistics said.
54.6% of the population are urban residents, 45.4% are rural residents, 49.8% are men, 50.2% – women.
