The powers of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan were reduced. This was reflected in the corresponding decree of President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers is entrusted with the functions of the Secretariat of the Council created in order to organize the activities of the Economic Council of the Azerbaijan Republic.
The Cabinet of Ministers will determine the composition of the Council Secretariat.
Previously, these powers were at the Central Bank.
