Preliminary investigation was completed in case of colonel involved in “Termen case”

A preliminary investigation was completed in relation to Colonel Vusal Aleskerov, brought to criminal liability in Terter’s case.

According to haqqin.az, the collected materials regarding the accused will be sent to the court for consideration in the coming days.

A preliminary investigation continues to other accused.

As part of the investigation of Terter’s case, persons accused of torture of military personnel, illegal deprivation of liberty and abuse of authority were arrested, the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan said.

As the department said, Alesker Vusal Aziz oglu said, Aessker Rustam Cherkeshez oglu and Garayev Ramil Fariz oglu, who during the investigation of the criminal case were found guilty of torture and deprivation of liberty of military personnel, were held accountable under articles 145.3 of the Criminal Code (illegal imprisonment), 293.2 (torture, cruel, inhuman or humiliating dignity or punishment not recognized by torture), 341.2.2 (exceeding official powers) and 341.2.3.

Also, as part of the investigation, Akhundov Fuad Arazy oglu was detained, which is accused under article 127.2.2 (intentional harm to health).

In relation to all the accused, a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen.
