Presentation of new carpets and AffiRr in Carpets will be held in Baku

With the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, a presentation of new carpets and a definition of costumes created based on carpets will take place.

On June 3, during the presentation in the center of Heydar Aliyev, new carpets created by the creative team of Azerkhalcha OJSC based on the design of the Affafair brand Rufat Ismail will be demonstrated, and inspired by the elements of ancient elements – Açma -Yumma, “” ” Karabakh “,” Nakhchivan “,” Ovçuluq “,” Pazırıq “, and a collection of clothing” Sumy “.

In Azerbaijan, which is the most ancient center of carpetics in the world, this type of art has been passed on from generation to generation for centuries, preserved to the present. Carpet motifs have always stimulated the creation of new ideas, works. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which supports the preservation and development of the carpet school in Azerbaijan, as well as its popularization in the world, organized a number of projects and exhibitions in this direction in the country and abroad. The traditional art of Azerbaijan carpet, included in the representative list of UNESCO intangible cultural heritage, again attracts attention in new projects.

The collection of clothing “Sumy”, created with the support of the Heydar Aliyev, designer by designer, Rufat Ismail, is also attracted to the attention of the Heydar Aliyv Foundation using motives, rich colors and patterns of Azerbaijani carpets and dedicated to the Karabakh victory of Azerbaijan.

At the show “Affair in Carpets” will be a defile of about 50 outfits from the collection “Sumakh Haute Couture” and “Sumakh Affordable Luxury”. Note that the Sumakh Haute Couture collection has already been shown in Paris and Moscow, and Sumakh Affordable Luxury will be presented for the first time in Baku.

Work created on five well -known carpet motifs, entered the collection, attract special attention.

Açma-Yumma carpet differs among the Karabakh carpets with its artistic features and is part of a complex of patterns from this series of carpets.

Elements of another work, which are distinguished by its beauty, are inspired by the elements of the carpet “Karabakh”.

The work “Nakhchivan” was created on the basis of a new artistic composition using various elements of the carpet, which is a model of the Karabakh carpet school, including the patterns of carpets “Hatai” and “Chelebi”.

inspired by the beauty of the elements belonging to the Karabakh carpets “Ovçuluq”, the artist created an artistic composition with Shebeke, using the elements of the composition “Bəndi-Rumi”, which was widely used in art schools in Azerbaijan and the Middle East.

The creation of the work “Pazırıq” is inspired by the central elements of the same carpet, which is considered the most ancient carpet in the world (2500 years), which is stored in the State Hermitage in St. Petersburg.

The goal of a project inspired by Azerbaijani carpets, in particular, the Karabakh carpet school, is the preservation of historical traditions in modern directions.
