In the capital of the Kurdish regional administration of Iraq (Territory), a large -scale event was held dedicated to the traditional Turkish cuisine organized by the Turkish Consulate General in Erbil as part of the “Tures Cuisine Week”.
The event was attended by the Consul of Turkey in Erbil Erman Topchu, representatives of the government of the Territory, employees of Turkish institutions, Turkman politicians, as well as residents of the city.
In his speech, the muffle noted that the initiative is carried out under the patronage of the wife of Turkish President Emine Erdogan and passes annually from May 21 to May 27.

He emphasized that the kitchen of the peoples of the region – Turks, Kurds, Turkman – has one common feature: “Whatever the recipes and no matter how fresh the products are, without sharing food with friends, there will always be something. We wanted to emphasize this evening. Turkish cuisine is what we rightly proud of.”
