Presented project “4 seasons of city of Shusha”

With the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Organization of the Ministry of Culture will be held international photo contest Four Seasons of Shusha (“Four Seasons of Shusha City”).

In connection with the holding of an international photo contest in the National Museum of Arts of Azerbaijan, a press conference was held with the participation of the head of the Media and Communications Department of the Ministry of Culture by Maryam Gafarzade, the head of museums, galleries and exhibitions of the Nargiz Abdullava and Curator of the Competition, Angelo Buccurly Italian artist.

Four world famous photographer from Turkey, Germany, Finland and Switzerland will take part in the Four Seasons of Shusha project.

Angelo Curator Angelo Burelly said that the project starts in May and his first participant will be photographer from Turkey Husseyin Tashkin.

“We live in the modern world and know that the photo has a certain force. With the help of our project, we want to demonstrate the beauty of nature and architecture of the city of Shusha to the world. Therefore, our project covers four years of year. Each of the four photographers will shoot a separate season. . Project participants – four photographers from different countries, each of which has their own eyes, their vision. They will show the city of Shusha from different angles.

Angelo Burelly added that 30-40 photographs will be selected within each season.

“In general, more than 100 photos will be included in the project. They will be included in the catalog published in Azerbaijani and English. Then mobile exhibitions will be organized. They will be held in Azerbaijan, in the homeland of photographers – project participants, and later – and in other countries.

It was also noted that for domestic photographers will be organized trainings with the participation of foreign specialists.

Note that photographers Husseyin Tashkin (Turkey), Hanness Becker (Germany), Tiina Intley (Finland) and Reto Gyntley (Switzerland) will take part in the international photo contest Four Seasons of Shusha.
