Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa, to attend the G20 Leaders’ Summit.
President Erdogan was met at OR Tambo International Airport by South Africa’s Minister of Housing, Water and Urban Development Thembisile Simelane, Turkish Ambassador to Pretoria Kezban Nilvana Darama Yildirimgeç and other officials.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan is accompanied on the trip by his wife Emine Erdogan, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Minister of Finance and Treasury Mehmet Şimşek, Chief of the Presidential Administration Hasan Dogan, Head of the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration Burhanettin Duran, Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç, Deputy Chairman and Press Secretary of the Justice and Development Party Omer Çelik and a number of other officials persons.
On November 22, President Erdogan will take part in two separate sessions as part of the summit at the Johannesburg Exhibition Center, hold bilateral talks and attend a dinner in honor of the leaders.
