President Erdogan Called On Union Of International Democrats To Resolutely Continue Its Activities

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed participants in a meeting in London organized by the Union of International Democrats (UID), calling on this structure to resolutely continue its activities.

The event took place at the Diyanet Mosque in London. It was attended by Minister of Finance and Treasury Mehmet Şimşek, Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party Efkan Ala, Turkish Ambassador to London Osman Koray Ertaş, Consul General of Turkey in London Hasan Ulusoy, Chairman of the British branch of UID Khalil Erdogan and others.

Addressing the meeting participants through Efkan Ala’s phone, President Erdogan noted the importance of the event, which is being held “in another corner of Europe.”

“I I attach great importance to you ensuring that you continue to operate in the places where you are – this is important for the future of the UID, as one of the most established organizations in Europe, it is once again experiencing resistance. I consider it useful that you complete this without the slightest sign of weakness,” the Turkish President said, calling on the UID to “continue to carry out its activities with the same determination.”
