President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with Austrian Prime Minister Christian Shtokker.
According to the statement published by the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration, during the conversation, bilateral relations between Turkey and Austria were discussed, regional and global issues.
Erdogan said Türkiye and Austria should effectively use the potential in the field of trade and investment. According to him, the parties will continue to take steps to improve cooperation.
President Erdogan noted that Türkiye is striving to end wars. The possibility of ending the war between Russia and Ukraine should not be lost, the humanitarian situation in the gas is catastrophic and urgent humanitarian aid should be delivered to the region as soon as possible.
The Head of State emphasized that Türkiye continues to maintain stability in Syria and it is important to increase the social and economic well -being of the population in order to ensure the return of Syrian refugees to their homeland.
