Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a meeting with Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction with progress in the peaceful process between Armenia and Azerbaijan and emphasized that Turkey would continue to contribute to this process. The heads of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
During the negotiations, the bilateral relations of Turkey and Azerbaijan, as well as regional and global issues were discussed. Erdogan noted the importance of the coordinated formation of regional development initiatives between the two countries and confirmed the intention to continue to strengthen cooperation in many areas, in particular in energy and transport.
