President Erdogan Expressed Solidarity With Pakistan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with Pakistan Prime Minister Shakhbaz Sharif.

This is stated in the message of the Relations Department under the Administration of the President of Turkey.

According to the statement, during the negotiations the escalation between India and Pakistan was discussed, an attack on the night of May 6 and the development of the situation.

The head of the Turkish state expressed the solidarity of Turkey with Pakistan. The Turkish leader conveyed condolences in connection with the death of the Pakistanis as a result of the attack, and also wished for a speedy recovery to Pakistan citizens who were injured.

The president emphasized that Türkiye supports Pakistan’s balanced and restrained policy in the process that has been. The head of state called the proposal to conduct an impartial, transparent and trustworthy for the international investigation of the terrorist attack in Jamm-Kashmir. According to him, Ankara is ready to make all the necessary efforts to prevent further escalation between Pakistan and India, and diplomatic contacts on this issue will continue.
