Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with the French colleague Emmanuel Macron. This is stated in the report of the Relations Department under the Administration of the President of Turkey.
Discussed the state of bilateral Turkish-French relations, as well as regional and international issues.
During the negotiations, President Erdogan said that on the way to the cessation of the war between Ukraine and Russia, a historical turning point was reached. The head of the Turkish state indicated the need to take this opportunity. He assured that Ankara is ready to make any contribution, including the organization of negotiations, in order to ensure the ceasefire and the lasting world.
President Erdogan also emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation with France in initiating negotiations on the long -term world and supporting the process of post -war restoration of Ukraine.
