Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with the president of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zaid Al Nahayan.
According to the statement of the Directorate of Relations with the Administration of the President of Turkey, during the conversation, Erdogan noted that an important step was taken with the process of “Turkey without terrorism” to complete the elimination of terrorism both from the agenda of Turkey and from the agenda of the entire region. The head of state emphasized the determination of Ankara and continue to continue the fight against the manifestations of terrorism in the region.
In turn, Al-Nahayan expressed confidence that the “Türkiye without terrorism” initiative will make a significant contribution to ensuring security in the region, and wished Turkey the successful completion of this process.
In addition, President Erdogan emphasized that the strategic partnership between Turkey and the United Arab Emirates gives positive results in all areas, and pointed out the great potential of bilateral cooperation, especially in the field of defense industry and new technologies.
The Head of State also noted that Türkiye is closely monitoring the peaceful negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia that have begun in Abu Dhabi and will continue to maintain efforts to ensure stability in the South Caucasus.
