President Erdogan: It Is Necessary To Form Fair Architecture Of Global Management

President Erdogan also noted that the update of the Customs Union of Turkey and the EU will contribute to the safety of supply chains.

President Erdogan called for a revision of visa practice within the Schengen zone, which “limits the mobility of our citizens, goods, services and capital”.

The head of state also affected the prospects of resolving the conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. “Stimulating the parties without imposing something due to the sensitivity of the process is extremely important in terms of achieving a fair and durable world,” he said.

In addition, President Erdogan called for mobilizing all resources to ensure constant ceasefire and humanitarian access in the gas sector.

He expressed the hope that the EU would show the necessary “activity and interest” to establish a ceasefire in gas.

President Erdogan also touched on the situation in Syria. According to him, Ankara expects an immediate lifting of sanctions against Syria imposed by the EU during the former regime and the provision of financial support in the restoration of the country.
